Despite the difficult, mountainous topography of the country, roads are generally well-maintained and safe. With the exception of the Gasa district, all major towns in the 20 districts of Bhutan are accessible by road.
Air
The country's only international airport is at Paro in the southwest of the country, and is served only by the country's flag carrier Druk Air. Druk Air, operates several flights per week from Bangkok, Delhi, Kolkata and Kathmandu.
Train
The nearest station is at Siliguri in India. Bhutan cannot be accessed by train.
