Czech Republic

Coach / Cars

Bus transportation between municipalities in the Czech Republic is provided by a number of bus companies, most importantly by the CSAD bus service. The bus network in the Czech Republic is relatively dense. Unlike trains, buses run less frequently on weekends, especially in the rural areas.

Air

Flights to the Czech Republic are handled by the international airport in Prague–Ruzyne situated some 20 kilometers northwest of the city.

Train

Thanks to its location in the center of Europe, the Czech Republic is crisscrossed by three major international railway corridors, most of them upgraded for high-speed trains. Train service to and from the Czech Republic is provided by the Czech Railways, German Railways, Polish, Austrian, and Slovak Railways. Connection with the neighboring European countries is provided by the EuroCity trains.
