Air

There are about 50 airports and landing strips, making even the northernmost places easily accessible. Airlines operating in Norway are SAS, Braathens and Widerøe.

Train

The Norwegian State Railway has a well developed network stretching from the southwestern coast up to Bodø on the coast of Nordland county. The Bergensbanen route crosses the mountains from Oslo to Bergen on the West Coast.

Boat

Especially in western Norway, where the world-famous fjords are, the road may suddenly end and the journey must continue by ferry. Departures of ferries and high-speed boats are frequent, though, queuing is seldom a problem. Besides regular ferry service, several ship companies offer fjord cruises too.
