GORILLA TRACKING AND HIKING IN THE VIRUNGAS
This tour takes you to The Virunga Mountains, a chain of volcanic mountains found in East Africa along the northern border of Rwanda, the Democratic Republic of Congo and Uganda. A UNESCO World Heritage Sites inscribed in 1979, the Virungas are home to the two remaining global populations of the famed Mountain Gorilla. One is found in the Virungas of Central Africa and the other in Rwanda, in the Parc National de Volcans, located in the north-west part.
