NGORONGORO CRATER – AFRICA’S GARDEN OF EDEN

This tour takes you to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, located 180 km west of Arusha. Declared a conservation area and then separated from the Serengeti National Park in 1959, this area was inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1979. The main feature of the NCA, as popularly called, is the Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s oldest and largest unbroken caldera.
