Coach / Cars

Car hire is available from the airport or in town. Chauffeurs are available on request wherever you choose to hire your car. Zambia has one of the best and most extensive road networks in the Continent, making driving here a wonderful experience.

Air

Lusaka, the capital, is the gateway for all international flights that come into the country. Buses, taxis and cars for hire are available to take you to the city.Flights from Europe come in via Ethiopia, South Africa or Kenya. Zambia has chartered flights that fly through out the country. These flights will fly to any of the 127 airstrips in the country with accessible landing strips.

Train

Domestic railways go through all the major Zambian Cities such as Lusaka, Livingstone, Kabwe and the Copper belt. The railway system in Zambia is not the best but it is good.

Boat

You can ferry across the Zambezi River from Botswana to Zambia. You also have the option of ferrying across Lake Tanganyika from Kigoma (Tanzania) and Bujumbura (Burundi) to Mpulungu in Zambia but are not very reliable means of transport.
