AlliedTPro appoints new Director DMC East in New York
AlliedTPro has appointed a new Director DMC East in New York. Stacy Spangler assumed her new role July 7th, 2008 where she will be responsible for managing, directing and developing the company’s DMC network. Her role also includes overseeing the current leisure operations and MICE client base.
Stacy Spangler graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Communications from Boston University, and brings with her 20 years of experience in marketing, promotions, and event planning for many “Fortune 100” (domestic and global) companies. For the past twelve years she has held the position Director of Meetings and Events at “Planning Source Ltd”. Prior to this, Stacy was the Director of Promotion at “American Home Products/Boyle-Midway” eventually becoming Senior Manager Promotion for the “Colgate-Palmolive Company”. From 1994 until 1996, Stacy held the position Director of Meetings & Promotions for “Omnicom: HMC Consumer/LLNS”. In addition to her professional endeavours, Stacy has also assisted in volunteer projects such as the Community Outreach Committee where she is the well respected Co-chair.
In this newly created position, Stacy Spangler is responsible for managing a department of 22 operators located in the NYC and Orlando offices. Both General Managers Esther Roth and Gisa Hanson will report directly to Stacy ensuring the integrity of the DMC structure. She will be working closely with our Director DMC West Tom Illi, for a strategic approach to our leisure and MICE business. Stacy’s professional background, years of experience, and her proven leadership skills make her the ideal candidate to fill this vacancy. She will report to Marie Hoffman, Vice President Operations.
