Kuoni Destination Management expands its cruise handling competence.
On 1st December 2007, Kuoni Destination Management took the necessary steps to further increase the focus on the handling of current and potential cruise clients’ needs. With the addition of new, dedicated and highly qualified resources, Kuoni emphasises the strategic importance and focus on the worldwide cruise handling by their over 60-fully owned destination management companies. A new vision has been developed to meet the changing needs of the modern cruise market.
To strengthen the professional handling of operations as well as adhere to the increased service level requirements and product development needs, Kuoni Destination Management has expanded its team of dedicated fulltime cruise professionals.
Joining the team around Nick Courtney, Global Cruise Director, the new appointed Global Cruise Director & Product Development Teresa Broccoli, Luis De Carvalho as Director of Cruise Operations and Mads Sallings as Director of Cruise Purchasing started 1st December 2007.
To expand operations in the important Baltic area, Kuoni further added Cruise Coordinators Carina Llado and Clara Navas. They will work alongside the existing Coordinator, Peter Lundqvist. Further additions are planned in Stockholm and Helsinki, while maintaining the strong team already in place in Amsterdam.
With this new setup, Kuoni will be able to handle the strong growth of cruise business in the Baltic region, across Europe and around the rest of the World.
Globally, Kuoni is already a key Destination Management partner for many important cruise lines and it is the objective to further grow together with existing and new cruise partners.
