New Director of DMC West appointed by AlliedTPro
AlliedTPro has appointed a new Director DMC West in Las Vegas. Tom Illi assumed his new responsibilities per 21st April 2008. In this newly created function he is responsible to manage, direct and grow the company’s DMC West network.
Tom Illi joined the Kuoni Group in Switzerland in 1973 and until 1977 held the position of a travel consultant. During the following thirteen years and until 1990 Tom Illi remained in Switzerland and became a Branch Office Manager in 1985. Before moving to the USA in 1990 he was Manager Special Groups Department for one year at the Kuoni headquarters in
Zurich. Until mid April 2008 and for the duration of eighteen years Tom held the position of Vice President / Managing Director North America of Kuoni Tours in Atlanta. In this function Tom Illi started up Kuoni Tour’s physical market presence in 1990 and successfully managed this office for eighteen years. As Director of DMC West Tom is responsible to manage, direct and grow the company’s DMC West network into an efficient, profitable service-oriented structure for Leisure Groups, MICE and high-end FIT services. He will report to Marie Hoffman, Vice President Operations of AlliedTPro.
