Asian Trails launches its new Explore product line and annual tariff

Asian Trails, the business unit of Kuoni Destination Management in Asia, is launching its new product line “Explore” as well as its annual tariff. Both products will be introduced at the World Travel Market in London from 9 to 12 November 2009.

Explore is Kuoni Destination Management’s newest product line for leisure travellers and features out of the ordinary tours for everyone. Individuals and small group tours seeking a truly authentic and sustainable travel experience will be shown a different angle when it comes to travel. Asian Trails will help guests explore the great outdoors, local customs and charming hospitality, flavourful traditional cooking, stimulating art, intriguing architecture – and much more – in a unique yet easily accessible manner.

This specifically designed selection of new programmes requires extensive local know-how and expertise. The out of the ordinary Explore tours range from short half or full day experiences to longer full week expeditions. Cycling through the mountain passes of Laos and visiting local villages en route; travelling in a convertible VW safari car through Bali, discovering the markets and mosques of Kuala Lumpur by foot or boarding boats and wooden canoes to explore Inle lake in Myanmar; these are only a few of the newly established Explore products on offer.

“With Explore, we have created a product line which caters to the average middle-aged European traveller, who wishes to see the main highlights of a country in an unconventional, unique and authentic way: by getting close to people and nature,” said Laurent Kuenzle, Group Managing Director Asian Trails.

In addition to Explore, Asian Trails will launch its annual tariff in form of a CD ROM in London. It will feature all of the products and services offered at its destinations and include all Explore products as well as further new features such as luxury and VIP services.

Asian Trails will be exhibiting at the World Travel Market in London from 9 to 12 November 2009 (stand no. AS 6475).
