Kuoni Destination Management organises “GA” and “TIAFT” congresses
As a recognised specialist Kuoni Destination Management Geneva is the professional congress organiser (PCO) for the 57th international congress and annual meeting of the Society for Medicinal Plant and Natural Product Research. The event is taking place from 17 to 20 August 2009 in Geneva. The Kuoni Destination Management office will also be PCO for TIAFT’s 47th Annual Meeting of the International Association of Forensic Toxicologist Conference from 23 to 27 August 2009, also in Geneva.
Kuoni Destination Management’s office in Geneva has arranged all services for the two congresses of GA (Gesellschaft für Arzneipflanzen, Society for Medicinal Plant and Natural Product Research) and TIAFT (The International Association of Forensic Scientists). The team in Geneva has generated 2 500 room nights in two- to five-star hotels for 1 500 participants and scientists from all over the world. They have handled more than 1 300 abstracts (speaker resumes) and have established the complex congress schedules. Furthermore, services such as transfers, handling of the technical equipment, design and printing of the announcements and programme leaflets, design of the congress websites as well as staffing, have been taken care of. Registration desks for participants were set up at the congress locations, too.
Additionally, Kuoni Destination Management has made arrangements for leisure activities for up to 400 persons. These include visits to Gruyères, the Olympic museum in Lausanne, Montreux Chillon castle as well as a visit to the town of Leysin. Dinner cruises on the lake Leman and gala dinners at some of Geneva’s top destinations have also been set up.
