New Head of Kuoni Events appointed in Zurich
Kuoni Destination Management has appointed a new Head of Kuoni Events Switzerland and UK. Dominik Leonhardt will assume his responsibilities as of 1 September 2009.
Dominik Leonhardt, 51, has been appointed Head of Kuoni Events Switzerland and UK for Kuoni Destination Management in Zurich. The Swiss national will join the company on 1 September 2009. Dominik Leonhardt studied at the HSG University of St. Gallen, Switzerland, from which he graduated with a degree in economics with the emphasis on marketing and events. He brings with him a wealth of professional experience in the marketing, branding and events sectors. During the last three years, Dominik Leonhardt has held the position of Head of Hospitality Events for UBS in Zurich. He is also a speaker for strategic management, marketing and event management at the Swiss Marketing Academy in Zurich.
In his new function as Head of Kuoni Events, Dominik Leonhardt will be based in Zurich and will be responsible for further developing and positioning Kuoni Events as the single-source partner in the events industry. Dominik Leonhardt will manage the two teams in Switzerland and the UK of five employees each and will report directly to Stefan Egli, Vice President Destination Europe.
