Private Safaris offers unique travel services during World Cup 2010
Private Safaris, the business unit of Kuoni Destination Management in South Africa will offer unique accommodation and local services during the World Cup 2010 held in South Africa from 11 June 2010 to 11 July 2010.
Private Safaris’ office in Cape Town will be offering accommodation to supporters, fans and corporate travellers of the football World Cup 2010. The Destination Management Company (DMC) secured unique accommodation on two five star luxury cruise liners (MS Noordam and MS Westerdam) which will be stationed in Cape Town, Port Elizabeth or Durban, according to the game schedule. Different cabin categories are available and can be sold in different packages.
Additionally, Private Safaris arranges tailor made packages, transport and excursions for and during the World Cup 2010 event. These include transfers to and from the airport, bookings of restaurants, shows, private tours, helicopter flights, private boat charters, as well as various excursions and safari programmes within South Africa.
The 2010 FIFA World Cup will be held for the 19th time and is the premier international football tournament. This will be the first time that the tournament is hosted by an African nation.
“South Africa has a clear shortage of available hotel rooms during the event. Private Safaris in Cape Town is able to offer the ideal and innovative alternative or one-stop-shop solution with the accommodation on the luxury cruise liners; as well as many more interesting local services that will supplement the guests’ visit to the World Cup”, said Thomas Goosmann, MD Destination Africa.
The offers by Private Safaris are solely focused on accommodation and local services and will not include any tickets to the matches.
