Why did you become a guide in Jordan?
Working as a guide is so much joy for those who like to meet people and share knowledge and experiences.

Guiding tourists who come to see my country and to learn about our history and culture is something too exciting for me. My goal is to combine our marvelous history and our beautiful modern life, to show the old and the new Jordan and the Jordanians.

What do you like the most about your job?
The fact that there is no routine. Diversity in work styles and meeting different cultures.

What are the required skills to become a guide?
Basically, first degree from university along with one foreign language.

During your career you must have experienced funny situations. Tell us one.
I had an American client who on the last day of Jordan tour asked his wife when we will go to Jordan.

What has been the most challenging client you have had?
People with stereotyped ideas who are not willing to listen as well those who hold a guide book and don’t understand that archeology could change.

Do you ever get tired of explaining the same information?
Not really as I try to do it differently each time and I observe the client's gestures.

How do you make sure each tour is unforgettable for your clients?
By mixing knowledge and culture along with things my clients do enjoy.

What do you find more fascinating about your destination?
The richness of history, archeology and culture along with peace.

Tell us an experience we shouldn’t miss when visiting Jordan.
To explore the old market in Amman and float in the Dead Sea.
