WHAT'S YOUR REGIONAL TERRITORY OR DESTINATON OF FOCUS?
Southern California-We have a large region from San Diego up through Palm Springs and over to Orange County and Los Angeles. It is fun and exciting. There is something for everyone.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE FEATURE ABOUT YOUR DESTINATION?
Our year round weather is 70F degree. This allows us to incorporate the natural beauty of our environment into most of our programs.

HAVE YOU EMBRACED USING SOCIAL MEDIA IN YOUR WORK? IF SO, HOW?
As an active committee member of the local industry MPI Chapter, I use the popular social media platforms of Facebook and Linked in to promote events within the MPI community. Commonly, I find it is also a great way to stay connected with clients.
WHAT TRENDS ARE YOU FINDING WITH PROMOTION OF GREEN INITIATIVES IN YOUR CLIENT PROGRAMMES?
CSR in general, including the promotion of Green initiatives, is a common theme to many of my clients. I find incorporating the concept into any teambuilding activities is popular. The message of giving back is always important.
DESCRIBE THE BIGGEST MISPERCEPTION OF YOUR DESTINATION?
Many still think of San Diego as a small town south of L.A. Or they assume that Orange County is only Disney. They assume our venues and culture and cuisine are limited. I love delighting them and proving our destination has a lot of give.
WITH WHAT OTHER DESTINATION DOES YOUR DESTINATION COMMONLY COMPETE?
We commonly compete with the common idea of the west and deserts of Arizona.
