François Roca appointed Managing Director Sales Japan
Kuoni Destination Management has appointed a new Managing Director for its Sales Office in Japan. François Roca will assume his new responsibilities as of 1st February 2008. He succeeds François Mazza in this position, who will remain within our company until mid 2008 on a consultancy basis.
François Roca, 42 years old, joins our company in the capacity of Managing Director Sales Japan, based in Tokyo, after having held several management positions for two large corporations “Eastman Kodak” and “Renault”. During his nine years of employment with “Renault” he was responsible in various functions in Europe and in Asia, his last appointment having been “Territory Director” for “Renault Europe”. Besides having worked in Japan for “Renault” for six years, he also spent most of his childhood in Japan, was educated in the Lycée franco-japonais of Tokyo and hence possesses the indispensable Japanese language skills. He studied chemistry at the “Pierre et Marie-Curie University” in Paris until 1988 and in 1991 he graduated from the “Institut Supérieur du Commerce” in Paris with a business degree.
His extensive management knowledge, marketing and sales experience and long term leadership skills correspond ideally with the requirements sought after for the position of Managing Director Sales Japan. In his new function, François Roca will report to Olivier Möschler, Vice President Sales Asia Pacific, based in Hong Kong.

François Mazza leaves Kuoni of his own accord after 13 years of employment. He has decided to take on the management of his family’s business.
