2010-01-28 The old-fashioned car ¨Trabant¨ Forget about the cabriolets, the limousines and any other favourite cars you may have! We are sure that you will enjoy getting your hands on the wheel of this veteran car “Trabant”! This car signifies freedom from the communist dictatorship to most German citizens. Before the falling of the wall, some inhabitants of East Berlin would use a Trabant car to pass “checkpoint Charlie” to enter western Germany. Here is your chance to put your driving skills to the test behind the wheel of a veteran Trabant vehicle. A most amusing and exciting way to discover the beautiful city of Prague. The day starts with a short presentation of the Trabant´s history and its sophisticated equipment, as well as a short instruction on how to drive the vehicle. It may seem simple, but we suggest you review the basics! Teams are established (max. 3 persons per car) and an itinirary and directions will lead the way. Several stops are incorporated with different tasks to complete: driving blindfolded, slalom drive, parking the car, challenging the space of the boot, etc. Full Description
